Coast Performance Rehab is happy that our guests are able to physically return to our care. We want to ensure that all our guests feel safe when visiting our clinics and are aware that the utmost care has gone into establishing social distancing and sanitary safety measures to fall in line with BC Government, WorkSafe BC and regulatory college guidelines.
Below is the list of the safety measures that we have set up for your comfort and safety:
Visitor and Administrative Safety Measures
A COVID-19 Consent to Treatment and Declaration of Health form must be filled out prior to your visit to receive treatment. Should the status of your health change, please notify us
Patients are required to come to the facility at their scheduled appointment time only to avoid heavy traffic in the waiting areas. If you arrive early please wait in your vehicle or outside the building
We ask that patients do not bring family members or other visitors with them to avoid increasing the amount of people in the clinic at a given time, unless the patient is under the age of 16 and needs to be accompanied by a guardian or is an individual with mobility restrictions that requires assistance
Hand sanitization and/or hand washing upon entry to the clinic
Each visitor will be required to wear a face mask in order to receive treatment
If you do not have a face mask, disposable masks are available for sale at the front desk
Waiting and reception desk areas will be marked with social distancing signage
Areas that visitors must come into contact with will be consistently sanitized by clinic staff (POS machines, treatment tables, exercise equipment etc.)
Traffic flow signage will be posted throughout the space to minimize close proximity of visitors entering and leaving the clinic
Doors will be kept open where possible to avoid the touching of door handles
Practitioner Social Distancing and Safety Measures
A COVID-19 Declaration of Health form must be filled out prior to returning to work
Hand sanitization and/or hand washing upon entry to the clinic and after completion of each treatment session
Each practitioner and administration staff member will be required to wear a face mask in order to administer treatment and services to the public
Treatment will take place on every other treatment table in the open treatment areas or in the private treatment rooms
Limited use and number of people in the exercise rehabilitation areas at a given time. Patients that primarily use the gym area will be required to work in sectioned regions to maintain social distancing
Each appointment will have an allotted turnover time at the end of the session to disinfect the treatment area(s)
Staff will also be maintaining social distancing measures among themselves in the dedicated staff areas to adhere to safety recommendations
Kinesiology services will be returning in Phase 3 of provincial government’s reopening plan. Until then Kinesiology appointments will continue to be available via TeleHealth (contact us to book)
We know that our everyday routines will feel different and take some getting used to as the community makes its return. With everyone’s cooperation we know we will get through this period and get back to an improved normal.
Thank you for all your help
